A refinement of the KD12

While we called the KD12 as Nike’s most innovative basketball sneaker with the Zoom Strobel tech, the KD13 refines that tech further. Aside from using double-stacked Zoom on the heel area, the KD13 applies the same stacked Zoom on the forefoot. Nike claims that this further improves cushioning and responsiveness that cannot be achieved with a single Zoom unit.

In the KD 13, we’re doubling the spring in the form of the double-stacked forefoot Zoom, allowing you more travel in the system and more energy back,” Nike Basketball Senior Creative Director Ross Klein said.

Like its predecessor, you get a 5/8 cut that gives adequate ankle support, along with a Swoosh that dips in the midsole like the Adapt BB 1.0. You get wings on the KD13 for added support, along with Kevin Durant’s new #7 number on the forefoot.

For the KD13, Nike has 6 debut colorways: three of them will see a global release, while one will be a China-exclusive and two of them will be exclusive to North America. Check out the colorways below:

The KD13 will retail for $150(~Php 7.7k).
