The Chuck Taylor goes avantgarde

Converse has been making sneakers since 1908, and the iconic Chuck Taylor turns a decade old this year. To celebrate the occasion, Converse unveiled its CX line—a new series of sneakers that reimagines the Chuck Taylor in new ways. There are three models under the said line, and the All-Star Disrupt CX is the craziest out of the three.

While it has the same silhouette as the high-cut Chuck Taylor, the All-Star Disrupt CX has an out-of-this-world midsole that includes an exaggerated heel counter. Together with a new stretch canvas upper and single-density PU insole, the All-Star Disrupt CX avantgarde looks still has comfort in mind.

The All-Star Disrupt CX is set to go on sale on March 19 at for $120(~Php 6.2k). Stay tuned for official announcements if Converse will bring this new silhouette to the Philippines.
