To DIY or not, that’s the question

One of the distinguishing features of Virgil Abloh’s latest Off-White collection is the presence of circular cutouts. We have seen those in the box of the Off-White Dunks, and they are very evident with the Off-White Air Jordan 5 themselves.

With the Off-White Air Jordan 5, the circular cutouts are covered by a transparent material that reminds us of the same material used on the React Element 87. Abloh even demonstrated “customizing” the Off-White Air Jordan 5s by removing the material covering the cutouts. Which begs us the question: should you “customize” a pair of hype sneakers that costs around Php 35k (based on StockX) by cutting up parts of it?
