Save for some Pharrell collabs, the NMD line has lost much of its hype these past few months. While there are a few new colorways here and there, most—if not all—of the new releases are simply sitting on shelves. In efforts of giving some like to the Boost-equipped lifestyle sneaker, adidas is set to introduce a new model called the NMD V2.
The NMD V2 has the same EVA plug layout and the same Boost height with the NMD R1, though the V2 sports a sharper design. The upper is made out of Primeknit, and you get more tapered details on the V2 compared to the R1 and R2. The heel tab also gets a redesign as well, with an appearance similar to those found in some Yeezy Boost 350 models.
The debut color comes in dominant black, with the Boost midsole having a split red and blue color.
adidas is expected to officially launch the NMD V2 soon.
