The multi-brand collab that is definitely not from Greenhills or Divisoria
When we see super unusual collabs like a mix of two different shoe brands, they are fake pairs 100% of the time. As much as we want the idea, it is not going to happen—until adidas and Reebok confirmed that they have an OFFICIAL collab pair. While the idea is not that farfetched (both adidas and Reebok are under the same umbrella company according to Sneakernews), it remains to be one of the most unexpected collabs for the year.
To kick off their collab, adidas and Reebook revealed official photos of the InstaPump Fury Boost. As the name implies, the sneaker sports the InstaPump Fury’s upper with a Boost-equipped midsole. Completing the look of this unique sneaker is a cobranded band wrapped around the shoe’s midsection.
There will be five colorways slated to drop: a “Prototype” one, which is based on Steven Smith’s production sample, a “OG meets the OG” collection featuring the original colorways of both the UltraBoost and InstaPump Fury, and a more conservative “black and white” featuring the pairs with all-black and all-white uppers.
The multi-brand sneaker will first drop in limited quantities on October 5 at AtmosCon Tokyo, followed by an October 25 Asia Pacific release and November 15 global release for the “OG Meets OG” collection. Finally, the “Black and White” collection will drop globally on December 5.
