Featuring the biggest forefoot Zoom Air to date

Nike has created an all-new basketball sneaker made for those who love to leap and float through air. Called the AlphaDunk, Nike’s new basketball sneaker shares the Hyperdunk’s DNA while sporting a rather unique midsole. Arguably the biggest (and highest) double-stacked Zoom Air unit to date, the AlphaDunk’s design places it on the forefoot area is meant for the user to have a stable takeoff and a soft landing.

We began to consider what would happen if we bring our most responsive technology, Zoom Air, to the entire forefoot to cover the full motion of a jump, from load to launch. What could it do?” Nike Basketball Senior Creative Director Ross Klein said.

Aside from the unique midsole, the AlphaDunk sports a revamped Flyknit upper that offers added strength and flexibility in the forefoot and midfoot area and added support in the heel and collar area.
