Let’s take a break from hype sneakers and show some love to general release pairs

While sneakerheads love to talk about rare, hype, and limited kicks often, they tend to overlook the general release pairs. We believe that GRs deserve to have the same love, and we recently spotted a bunch of nice pairs at Nike Park’s store in Bonifacio High Street. Here are some of our favorite picks:

ZoomX Vaporfly NEXT%

If running is your passion and you simply want the best running shoe for your feet, you should consider the ZoomX Vaporfly NEXT%. It may cost a fortune at a little over Php 12k pesos (which can get you 2 or 3 pairs of nice running sneakers), but the ZoomX Vaporfly NEXT% offers a lot of tech that aims to make you run faster in style.

Air Max 270 React in Black/White

Nike’s latest hybrid sneaker is finally available in store. If you are unsure of getting one because the “Bauhaus” colorway is a tad too loud for you, there’s a subtle black/white colorway available, and it reminds us of the easy-to-get black/white colorway of the Element React 55.

Fresh colorways for the Air Max Tailwind IV and Air Max 95

Nike’s older silhouettes are always a must-cop, especially when they are executed with good color blocking. Both new colorways of the Air Max Tailwind IV look great, especially the “Grape” colorway. The same goes for the new colorways of the Air Max 95, with both of them sporting unique gradient details on the upper.

New VaporMax 2019 colorways

If you are looking for something fresh out of the VaporMax line, the new VaporMax 2019 colorways are dope—especially the one with the retro Nike Air branding on the heel. That particular model looks fresh with varying shades of blue accompanied by a translucent upper and yellow accents.

Air Jordan 11 Low IE “Space Jam”

When people talk about the Air Jordan 11, the Low IE the least-loved model in the line—heck, the Air Jordan 11-based Jordan Future gets more love because of its minimalist upper. However, seeing the “Space Jam” colorway in person should make you rethink about the Air Jordan 11 Low IE. With its busy upper, the application of patent leather paneling and smooth leather on the toebox goes well with the mesh panels on the upper.

Speaking of Air Jordans, there are a bunch of other models sleeping on shelves like the all-black Air Jordan 13, the Volt Air Jordan 4 Flyknit, the white/navy Air Jordan 1 Mid, and the recently-dropped Air Jordan 14 “Yellow Ferrari”.

*If the Bonifacio High Street Branch is far for you, you can check out the newly-opened Nike Park store in Podium, as they have roughly the same pairs in store.
