Kanye West’s most experimental silhouette to date?
While the market is bombarded by multiple Yeezy Boost 700 and Yeezy Boost 350 releases, Kanye West’s brand is set to introduce new models in the coming months. One of these new models is the Yeezy 451. Unlike the 700s, 350s, 500s, and 750s, the 451s go for an avant-garde approach with its design.
While it carries a few design elements borrowed from the Yeezy Boost 700, what makes this non-Boost equipped model unusual is its midsole design, which extends to the mesh upper. In theory, the design should deliver a more snug fit to your foot, giving it a better lockdown.
There’s also that segmented outsole that reminds us of how Nike designed the outsole on the VaporMax. We are not sure about the cushioning used on the Yeezy 451, but it would be really interesting to see how comfortable they are on-feet. As a sneaker enthusiast myself, I am more than curious to try them on in person and see if its rather polarizing look is appealing enough to break heads.
The sneaker is rumored to release sometime towards the end of 2019, and we hope adidas gives a good price on these, given the high SRP of the Yeezy Boost 700s and the price hike on the Yeezy Boost 350 (starting with the “Synth” colorway).
