A mix of the conventional and the modern
Nike’s React Element line has received a number of makeovers and new iterations following the success of last year’s Element 87 and Element 55. To date, we have the hybrid Air Max 270 React and Presto React, and the utilitarian React ISPA. Joining the growing family is the React Sertu, which is basically is what the React 55 would look like if it had a traditional upper.
For this pair, the upper is constructed with different overlays of brown leather, brown nubuck, and black woven panels, along with a white TPU heel cap. There’s a bit of Element 87 vibes with the translucent tongue dressed in volt, and the orange rope laces give it some pop.
Branding comes in the form of a small Swoosh on the toebox area and “the 10th” tabs on the midfoot tab and heel tab. Completing the look is the React Element midsole with a gum-colored outsole.
The React Sertu should drop soon and will retail for $160(~Php 8.3k).
