Well, sort of

It is no secret that some people would wear sneakers instead of dress shoes in formal events. This trend started with the Air Jordan 11 with its patent leather detail. Jordan Brand embraced the trend fully after dropping a triple black “Cap and Gown” Air Jordan 11 last year. Jordan Brand realized that it was a good idea, which is why they are doing a follow-up this year with a “Cap and Gown” iteration of the Air Jordan 13.

Like last year’s “Cap and Gown” Air Jordan 11, you get that shiny black patent leather on the Air Jordan 13 version. Complimenting it is a nubuck overlay, giving it a luxurious look. The holographic logo is swapped for a tonal black one with the number 23 on it. Completing the look is an icy blue outsole.

The Air Jordan 13 “Cap and Gown” will drop on April 27 for $200(~Php 10.4k). Expect Titan and Nike Park to share their release mechanics this week.
