Giving emphasis on sustainability

Sneakers do not last long. Whether you wear them to death or keep them on ice, sneakers deteriorate over time to the point they become unwearable. adidas wants to change things by introducing the recyclable sneaker concept with the Futurecraft.Loop.

The Futurecraft.Loop has sustainability written all over: the sneaker is made entirely of recycled TPU, comprising of yarns and filaments from marine plastic waste and illegal deep-sea gillnets. Instead of using glue, adidas utilized its Speedfactory process, which involves knitting, molding, and clean-fusing for the midsole area.

The Futurecraft.Loop will be initially released via a beta program and is slated for a wider release by Spring/Summer 2021.
