Time to strategize!
The second quarter of 2019 just kicked off, and Jordan Brand revealed its Summer 2019 collection. While there are a number of pairs that were revealed, we trim them down to the top five must-cop models. Check out our list below.
Air Jordan 4 Retro OG Bred
No questions asked: the “Bred” Air Jordan 4 retro is making a return once again, and this time it sports the classic Nike Air logo on the heel tab. There’s word that this will be more limited compared to other retro Air Jordans, so expect this to sell out really fast. The “Bred” Air Jordan 4 Retro will drop on May 4.
Air Jordan 7 Ray Allen PE
Ray Allen is one of the more prominent endorsers of Jordan brand, and it is fitting that one of his Player Exclusives will make it to retail. Featuring the Air Jordan 7 silhouette, the “Ray Allen PE” mimics the same color blocking of the sneakers Allen wore during his time with the Milwaukee Bucks. This will drop on June 1.
Air Jordan “Reflections of a Champion” Collection
Paying homage to Michael Jordan’s first three-peat with the Chicago Bulls, the “Infrared” Air Jordan 6, “Cardinal” Air Jordan 7, and “Bugs Bunny” Air Jordan 8 get updated with a full 3M upper. The trio will drop on June 8.
Air Jordan 14 “Candy Cane”
If you are a big fan of Rip Hamilton, you should have the “Candy Cane” Air Jordan 14 on your radar. The upcoming model is inspired by the sneaker Hamilton wore during his 1999 NCAA Championship with the University of Connecticut Huskies. This is slated to drop on April 6, so make sure to check out Titan for their release mechanics.
Air Jordan 4 Flyknit
Since it is the Air Jordan 4’s 30th anniversary this year, Jordan Brand gets to launch “new” iterations of the iconic basketball sneaker. This includes a 4-piece Flyknit collection, where the Air Jordan 4 gets a full Flyknit upper and is dressed in Blue, Orange, Volt, and Red. What makes this release excited is that it will be a regional release, so you will need to source your pairs around the world if you want to complete all four. The collection is slated to drop on June 14.
