A non-retro pair that should be in your must-cop list

While people would buy mostly retro pairs from Jordan brand, the basketball-centric Nike sub-brand has a number of dope non-retro pairs like the Jordan “Why Not?” Zer0.2, and the Air Jordan XXXIII. These pairs offer the latest performance tech, along with up-to-date materials that will benefit ballers.

Jordan brand is also into mixing the past with the present. The Jordan Future, the Jordan 89 Racer, and the Jordan Flyknit Elevation 33 are new models that take inspiration from retro models. With Nike’s push for React technology, Jordan brand now has React-equipped sneakers, with the Proto-React being one of its first offerings.

Jordan brand will be expanding its React-equipped offerings with the Apex-Utility. The upcoming mid-cut sneaker has an interesting blend of form and function: underneath the translucent shroud is a knitted inner layer that is reminiscent of a Flyknit Air Jordan 1. With its higher cut, the Apex-Utility provides better ankle support.

It also has the same React midsole of the Proto-React, along with adjustable straps at the heel for a better fit.

This colorway of the Apex-Utility will drop on March 14. Expect it to be more expensive and more limited than the Proto-React because of its colorway. Make sure to stay tuned to the site for release updates on this pair.
