All-leather uppers FTW

A lot of sneaker enthusiasts love the Air Jordan 11: this basketball silhouette has been used for formal occasions thanks to its trademark patent leather upper and sleek look. A few years back, a reinterpreted version—called the Jordan Future, was made, sporting the Air Jordan 11’s midsole while being paired with a one-piece upper. The new model was a hit-or-miss depending on the colorway, but we’re sure this upcoming one will be a hit.

Decked in triple black, this Jordan Future swaps the knitted upper for full tumbled leather, along with a Jumpman branding on the lateral side of the sneaker. You still get the same asymmetrical lacing of the Jordan Future, along with a blacked-out Air Jordan 11 midsole and outsole.

Modernized Air Jordan retros are often a miss, but this new colorway of the Jordan Future is definitely worth copping. They should be dropping this month, so don’t be surprised if you spot a pair at your favorite Nike store.
