Staying true to its OG form

The 90s is an interesting time period for adidas. There’s the introduction of the EQT series in the early 90s and the Feet Your Wear series in the mid to late 90s. The EQT’s return was met with positive reception, resulting in countless updated models and Consortium collaborations with top sneaker retailers around the world.

The Feet Your Wear has been enjoying a resurgence as well, and it is not surprising that adidas is bringing back the original models under the Feet Your Wear line.

The latest Consortium model is the FYW-S97, which is inspired by the Salvation—a Feet Your Wear model that first came out in 1997. For the FYW-S97, adidas streamlined the silhouette with updated mesh and leather overlays while maintaining the OG design of the Salvation.

Commonwealth is slated to drop this pair soon, so stay tuned at their social media accounts.
