A few weeks ago, Virgil Abloh posted a cryptic message on his Instagram stories about the possible end of “The Ten” Nike X Off-White collaboration. In the said post, Abloh said: “personally I’m visually obsessed with the combination of black sneaker/white Swoosh white laces.”

We have seen a black/white Off-White Air Force 1 drop last December 2018, along with a volt/black colorway. For this month, we are getting two Off-White Air Max 90 releases consisting of a black/white colorway and desert ore/orange colorway. The presence of a black/white pair may mean the end of “The Ten”, but it’s better to wait for the official statement from Abloh himself.

Going back to the upcoming colorways, both Off-White Air Max 90s sports leather, nubuck and mesh panels for the uppers, along with Abloh’s trademark deconstructed look, an oversized tongue, a large Swoosh, text detail on the medial side, and a light blue zip tie tag.

Both pairs are slated to drop on January 17 for $160(~Php 8.4k) though there’s no word if there will be a local release. Should you really want a pair, expect to pay resale prices since they will be not that easy to cop. Like the latest Off-White Air Force 1 drop, both Off-White Air Max 90 colorways will be available in toddler sizes.

Do you think this drop is a fitting conclusion to “The Ten”?
