A modern interpretation of a legacy design

After several teasers over social media, adidas has officially unveiled its latest silhouette with the Deerupt at Commonwealth Greenbelt on March 21. The new model is a modern interpretation of old adidas runners sporting netted soles, or better known as the Dellinger webbing. This then-unconventional midsole design wrapped the midsole with a net for additional support.

With the Deerupt, adidas reimagines the Dellinger webbing by using the same technique on the upper, resulting in a uniquely-designed shoe that balances avantgarde with minimalism. The use of the Dellinger webbing-like design on the upper results in a more snug fit that gives optimal foot support to the wearer.

For its debut, the Deerupt comes in three colors: In Solar Bird (a mix of Solar Red and Bluebird), in all-white, and in white and black (with hints of Bluebird on the midsole). The Deerupt is available at all stores and online for Php 5800.
