After getting details to all 7 adidas X Dragonball pairs, photos of the “Gohan” Deerupt have surfaced as well. Just like all pairs in the collab, the “Gohan” pair makes use of a new adidas model that is slated to launch in March 2018.

The Deerupt, upon first impression, does look like Pharrell’s Hu Tennis shoe. What makes this different is its web-wrapped midsole, which is a homage to legacy adidas runners in the 80s that use a similar setup. The webbing, known as Dellinger webbing, acts as a shock absorbing mechanism for the midsole.

Completing the look of the Deerupt is a web-wrapped upper, where you have a tightly-knit fabric with a web-like exoskeleton wrapped around it. As a modern adidas sneaker, there’s no three stripes on the side; instead, you have adidas’ teefoil logo in the heel tab.

As for the “Gohan” pair? It comes with a purple upper and a white midole, reminiscent of what Gohan wears in the hit anime series. Check out the render below:

The “Gohun” Deerupt are slated to release in September, alongside the “Cell” Prophere.
