When it comes to shoes I put a premium on fashion sneakers that can deliver style and comfort. These are the type of shoes that I get a lot of value out of because I can wear them to casual days at work or when I’m traveling. With that in mind let me share my top 5 fashion sneakers that are both extremely comfortable and aesthetically awesome.
Please take note that this list is based on my collection of shoes. You probably have a different set of 5 so feel free to comment down below with your own list!
Cole Haan ZeroGrand Wingtip Oxfords
Cole Haan is my personal favorite brand when it comes to shoes. I own at least 10 pairs ranging from their fashion sneakers to their formal leather dress shoes. I love the brand because their products capture exactly what I want in shoes: comfort and style.
The Cole Haan Zerogrand Wingtip Oxford was my first foray into the world of fashion sneakers. Ever since my first pair I’ve bought 6 more in different color styles. The one in the photo above in brown is my favorite casual work day and weekend sneakers. My wife got them for me as a gift when she was in the US and she was shopping in a Cole Haan outlet store in San Francisco.
In terms of pricing you can get them locally but they have hefty price tags usually above Php14,000. If you travel often it’s best that you just buy a couple of pairs when you’re in the US because they have a lot of Cole Haan outlet stores where you can get a pair for around Php5,000-Php7,000.
Geox NEBULA Respira Sneakers
In my entire shoe collection, this is the one that has gotten the most mileage when I travel. This pair of Geox NEBULA Respira sneakers has gone to at least 10 countries in the last 3 years. The combination of the soft leather upper, 3D-mesh/mounting insoles, and the Geox-patented perforated sole delivers almost unrivaled comfort. It’s also easy to slip them on and off for airport checks since you don’t have to untie and tie shoe laces.
I got this pair in Barcelona a few years ago but they are being sold locally in Geox stores in malls as well. They go for anywhere between Php9,000-Php10,000.
Adidas Ultraboost Uncaged
You can’t make a list of comfortable sneakers without including the Ultraboost by Adidas. I currently have three in my collection with my favorite one being the Uncaged variant in the photo above. I love the responsive cushioning which makes it perfect for long walks or gym cardio sessions (this is my go-to for gym). The SOCKFIT upper gives an added level of snug and supportive comfort that you also don’t get with other sneakers.
Adidas Ultraboosts go for around Php9,000-Php10,000 locally in Adidas stores.
Cole Haan ZeroGrand 2.0 Laser Wingtip
The Cole Haan ZeroGrand 2.0 series is my favorite line for a more dressed up occasions at work. The traditional wingtip oxford design of the first generation was really suited more for casual wear. The new Laser Wingtip style of the ZeroGrand 2.0 series and the solid color combinations makes it suitable for casual and smart casual wear at work.
Just like the previous ZeroGrand series, this pair delivers fantastic comfort thanks to the Integrated Motion Outsole, soft leather support, dynamic energy foam, contoured energy foam footbed cushions, zonal tougne and achilles padding, and the full rubber outsole.
Available locally via Cole Haan Philippines. They usually sell anywhere from Php15,000-Php18,000.
Under Armour SpeedForm Gemini 2 Running Shoes
I had a phase in my life where I was a huge Under Armour fan. I think I fell in love with the underdog brand story and ended up buying a few pairs from them. My favorite pair is the SpeedForm Gemini 2 Running Shoes. Apart from the great style and design, it was extremely comfortable. This is actually my second favorite pair of shoes for the gym, second only to the Ultra Boosts.
Under Armour SpeedForm Gemini 2 is available locally in Under Armour stores. I got mine in the BGC branch for around Php8,000 (can’t remember exact price).
And there you have it. Those are my top 5 fashion sneakers that are all about comfort. How about you guys? Let us know in the comments section below!
