The last time we rode on Emirates Business Class we were on their Boeing 777-300 plane. The experience was amazing and we made it a point to always try to go for Emirates Business Class if we had long haul flights. In our recent trip to Barcelona we booked Business again but we were in for a bigger treat! Apparently Emirates upgraded some of their planes to the new Airbus 380 and the business class experience on this bad boy is just epic. Super well worth the price of admission!
The business class section of the Emirates Airbus A380 features solo or dual cubicle set-ups. In each cubicle you have a wide range of luxuries including your own dedicated mini-bar, several compartments for your bags/shoes, USB/Laptop charging ports, full flat reclining chair (you can get a mattress so it feels like a bed with a comforter), and a giant HD screen for entertainment.
Here are some photos we took of the dual cubicle set-up:
But wait… there’s more!
The Emirates Airbus A380 has a special lounge area with a bar in the business class section. You can actually get up, head on over to the bar, get a couple of drinks, and talk business or pleasure with the people there or they people you’re with. This is a nice place to go to when you need to stretch your legs.
The flight attendants were nice enough to have us even take a few pics of us behind the bar, hehe. Good thing there were 2-3 Filipinas who were part of the cabin crew. They were very hospitable and my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed chatting with them throughout the flight.
The Business Class experience on the Emirates A380 is definitely something that we will look for next time we go on a long-haul flight. They should phase out all of their Boeing 777-300 planes already so that this is their new standard, hahaha! 😛
Anyway, if you guys wanna travel Business Class, it’s quite pricey. Usually it’s more than double the price of an Economy Class ticket. The additional monies will basically pay for a much more comfortable trip. It’s not really the most practical thing to do but at least you can actually look forward to your long-haul flight instead of dreading it.
Two thumbs up to the flight attendants and the team behind Emirates! My wife and I will definitely be flying with you guys again in the future. Love the planes, service, and food. 🙂
